A Facebook Invitation

From July 14 – July 21, I was invited to be a member of a private Facebook group strictly for parents of LGBTQ children. Susan Berland, a personal coach for parents of LGBTQ kids, was kind enough to let me join her group for a week in order to share my experiences with mental illness and growing up gay in the Bible Belt. I answered questions from parents, helped give advice, and even held a Facebook Live event at the end of the week.

I was so happy to have the opportunity to not only promote my book, but to go more in-depth with the importance of erasing the stigma of mental illness.
